American Tower Developer Bus Reporting in Woburn, Massachusetts

The Team

We are seeking a Business Report Developer to join American Tower’s Finance Data Analytics (FDA) team. The FDA team partners with internal stakeholders to provide actionable analyses and recommendations driven by detailed analytics. Day to day you will create analytical reports and dashboards, combine information from disparate systems and assist with enterprise data warehouse reporting projects that help inform key business decisions. As a Business Report Developer, you will partner cross-functionally to develop and deliver standardized reporting by using best practices of presenting and visualizing data for internal customers.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a concentration in Computer Science, Business or a related quantitative discipline preferred.

  • A minimum of 4+ years’ data analytics experience required; must be able to visualize and interpret data.

  • Experience with one or more of the following platforms required:

  • Oracle Analytics OAS, OBIEE) or an equivalent enterprise business intelligence platform (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

  • ETL tools (ODI/Informatica or similar), database development

  • Data science skills such as Scripting languages including Python, R; experience in Machine learning is a plus.

  • Experience with Oracle EBS, Salesforce as data sources for analytics.

  • High Proficiency with SQL querying and knowledge of data modeling.

  • Familiarity with predictive analytics modeling and financial concepts.

  • Meticulous attention to detail with an appreciation for the relationship between data quality, key performance indicators, and the Company’s success.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.

  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results effectively and professionally.

  • Ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.

What You Can Offer Us

  • Design and develop analytics products (data visualizations, dashboards, automations etc.) in support of business initiatives.

  • Identify data patterns and insights through advanced analytics (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics).

  • Interface with IT and Business teams to identify the data modeling needs for reporting and analytics development.

  • Lead efforts to implement reporting and data solutions that accurately address complex business needs.

  • Administer object and data level security for the data analytics dashboard and reports according to the requirements.

  • Support departmental needs for ad hoc reporting.

  • Support documentation need during the design development and postproduction of the analytics products.

  • Other duties as assigned.
