Conduct current landscape analysis of legacy systems and assist in transitions. Develop and maintain site search applications. Develop and enhance the search indexing batch components using Java/J2EE and Spring MVC. Develop AWS AMI rehydrating scripts to spin up new EC2 instances with most recent patch and develop cloud formation templates. Conduct meeting with vendors. Gather requirements with help of stakeholders across VZ, rationalize, and consolidate system across the enterprise; assist in design and development of POC. Build solutions to execute complex multi-source join queries in logical data layer with role-based security for offshore users restricting access to certain PII data elements. Interact with vendor representatives to leverage RFI and demos for service/product and present the case to the stakeholders. Work with Java/J2EE, Python, AWS, Google BigQuery and SQL. Master's degree plus 1 year of experience required. Work site: relocation for short/long term projects to various unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S. is required.
