Job Description:

  • Position and assemble parts according to work instructions.
  • Measure parts to specified tolerances.
  • Record parts in ERP system as required.
  • Inspect all parts for cleanliness and flaws.
  • Complete tags for nonconforming or scrap parts.
  • Clean, assemble, disassemble, and replace parts as required.
  • Ensure that glass is clean and free from smudges, debris, particulates and grease.
  • Use chemicals, adhesives, solvents, lubricants, epoxies, paints, and ink, as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
  • Ensure inventory of supplies such as: cotton swabs, toothpicks, alcohol, acetone, glues, and adhesives, cleaning wipes paints and other supplies as necessary.
  • Keep production supervisor advised of work status, workload, problems, and progress as related to work assignments.
  • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Supervisor.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Ability to work with small electronic parts.
  • Ability to paint various small parts.
  • As required package optics and accessories as required by the Bill of Materials.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Print identifier on completed work as required.
  • Responsible to keep track of time used, as well as clocking in and out daily.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding, follow detailed and uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
