Our client, who designs and manufactures the highest quality windows and doors, is seeking a direct hire, Design Engineer to sit out of their Medford, WI, Ladysmith, WI or Park Falls, WI location.

Job Title: Design Engineer

Location: Medford, WI 54451

Pay Range: $80k-$105k + Bonus

What’s the Job?

  • Working with a project team, responsible for design and development per the project scope.

  • Develop 2D and 3D engineering drawings and specifications based on calculations.

  • Utilize material testing, specifications preparation, and research investigations on product, parts, and components that meet engineering standards.

  • Compilation and entry of supporting data such as: product BOMs, design record files, engineering changes etc.

  • Research of relevant technical developments from various sources including technical literature, suppliers, standards authorities, IP & Patents etc.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelors Degree or higher in an Engineering realm

  • Building material/lumber/glass industry experience/knowledge

  • Understanding of CAD drafting skills

  • SolidWorks experience a plus!

  • Open on level of experience!
