JOB REQUIREMENTS: Personal Care/Cleaning Assistant- Part-Time Do you enjoy helping others to remain as independent as possible? Do you enjoy assisting them with minor personal care and cleaning? Community Horizons is assisting a wonderful Wisconsin Rapids male in recruiting for an afternoon assistant. Work Environment: 1:1 in members own home Member Instructed Tasks Include but are not limited to the following: Personal Care to Feet & Legs: (cream and wraps to feet/legs) Socks to Feet Laundry General Cleaning (bathroom & living space) Hair washing 1x per week Take out Trash Ideal Candidate is Someone Who: Is Honest & Dependable Likes to plan ahead and set goals for the next visit Communicates effectively and is willing to speak up if they have a question or concern but also willing to listen to the member\'s wants/needs and desires. Takes instructions well and follows through as the member desires Enjoys cleaning/organizing the bathroom and living space Is comfortable with care to feet and legs Is Cat Friendly Has a Favorable Background Check Hours: 2 hours per day, 3 days per week Afternoons (after 3:00 pm) 6 total hours per week Wage: \$16.46 Consider assisting this wonderful gentleman in his desire to maintain his independence. ** Community Horizons offers support for individuals enrolled in self-directed programs through Managed Care Organizations or IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-Direct) throughout Wisconsin.
