Kforce Software Developer III in Winter Park, Florida

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Software Developer III in Winter Park, Florida (FL). If the candidate is local to Orlando, FL, they could probably work out a hybrid or in-office position they would prefer that, but it is not required.Summary:There is a solid reporting foundation already, but there is plenty of room for improvement and innovation as we begin replacing pieces of our legacy COBOL application with new solutions in this web app. The Software Developer's main responsibility will be to rebuild the client's PHP-based, customer-facing website using Django and React as well.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; Substantial experience and knowledge in IT can replace the educational requirement

  • Experience with Python (Django), MySQL, PHP, React, Git

  • Coding experience

  • Knowledge of Linux

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Programs

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to manage multiple priorities and have strong organization and analytical skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
