TE Connectivity in Winston-Salem, NC is looking for a Senior Manager Continuous Improvement, responsible for creating, implementing, and supporting a transformation plan for all sites within the Americas Region towards operation excellence. Deploy best practices and implement improvement and savings’ projects to all manufacturing operations within TE Automotive America Region. Review manufacturing processes for injection molding, mechatronics, assembly, stamping, and plating value streams. Responsible for tracking and reporting accountability for all KPIs for the Americas region - including safety, quality, delivery, inventory turns, and cost. Accountable for promoting teamwork between operations, engineers, and quality teams as key players that define manufacturing processes from the value stream. Partner closely with key internal stakeholders, such as sales, materials, planning, and finance. Month-to-Month operations and short/long-term planning for the Americas Region value streams. Manage manufacturing and engineering areas focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into manufacturing strategies and processes. Coordinate plant activities with department and value stream leaders to ensure that business unit objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner. Ensure all digital factory migration and new launch activities support production line transfers and facility are executed according to plan and within budget. Ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance by implementing preventative and corrective measures to ensure the occupational health and safety of employees, as well as compliance with necessary regulations; actively seek potential risks to proactively mitigate; make the necessary recording and reporting of incidences. Create, support, and maintain sustainability targets for energy, water, and hazardous waste reductions. Create a culture of transformation and continuous improvement through TEOA and the use of lean tools to drive operational excellence with production efficiencies, lean processes, and margin improvements. Provide Continuous improvement training to the Americas Region sites and support leader and employees development progress towards a lean culture. Develop and maintain programs and policies to ensure a highly effective and motivated workforce; evaluate training needs and develop training and development plans to support high-performance teams.
