RTP Company Warehouse Associate Shuttle Driver - 3rd Shift in Winona, Minnesota

3rd Shift Warehouse Associate/Shuttle Driver (Class A CDL Preferred but not required.) Location: 1520 E 8th Street, Winona, MN-Warehouse Shuttle Driver will deliver raw materials locally in Winona to the various RTP production facilities. Ability to drive a 26-foot automatic straight truck. Employee will work in set out when not driving. This position is responsible for weighing and packaging materials in the production department as well as loading and unloading trucks, labeling stock and non-stock materials, processing inbound and outbound freight bills, and completing any other tasks related to Shipping and Receiving. Work Schedule: 3rd shift. The hours are 11pm to 7am with a Sunday night start. Overtime as required including weekend work. Employees are assigned to a rotating A or B shift. NOTE: Training required on the 1st shift for 1- 2 weeks is required. The Hours are 7am to 3pm M-F. Responsibilities Documents/ Record Incoming raw material information Loads, unloads, and picks materials as needed. Operates heavy motorized material handling equipment. Moves material or merchandise to and from storage facilities. Examines materials for damage. Stores and stacks items in accordance with established storage rules and methods Counts and arranges inventory as needed. Assembles, prepares, and checks merchandise to be loaded onto trucks. Ensures shipments are properly labeled and packed. Obtains related documentation for each order. Ensures correct ingredients are delivered to the work area. Mixes and weighs out ingredients to meet customer orders and specifications. Sets up and starts any weigh-up or packaging machinery, checking all controls for adherence to operating/safety procedures. Remains aware of any issues or concerns with machinery and processes Supplies production laborers with appropriate materials and keeps all equipment operational. Other duties as assigned. Primarily day cab/local truck duties. Receive and follow dispatch orders/instructions. Pre and Post trip inspect vehicle at specified intervals. Hook up and drop trailers as directed by dispatch. Operate forklift and perform loading and unloading as needed/required. Requires the use of handheld scanner for scanning of labels/products on and off trailers as needed. Drive vehicle on specified routes observing Department of Transportation, State, Federal and RTP Company guidelines safe driving rules and regulations. Communicate as directed, verbally or in writing. Pick up and deliver dry van (skid) products, pneumatic bulk product, and trash compactor.
