Job Description FSB Instructor 2001 Theurer Blvd, Winona, MN 55987 HEADQ Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time FSB Instructor, you will be responsible for instructing current course curriculum covering topics such as sales, product, leadership and operations in virtual and in person environments. You will assess student performance and lead employees in their career development. The Fastenal School of Business (FSB) is the internal Learning and Development division of the Fastenal Company. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Administering and facilitating engaging and interactive instruction for employees in virtual and classroom settings o Evaluating written, verbal and hands on learning objectives o Providing written, verbal and coaching feedback within role play and hands on learning situations o Establishing relationships with both training participants and management to assist in professional development o Configuring, facilitating and utilizing various functions of the Learning Management System REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements o Possess or are working towards a degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, English, liberal arts or a related field of study OR have industry or customer service work experience o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite o Willingness to learn and utilize Learning Management Systems o Willingness to facilitate trainings and meetings using web based meeting programs such as Cisco WebEx and MS Teams o Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Work independently as well as in a team environment o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities o Highly motivated and self directed with the ability to motivate others o Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time o Demonstration of our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: o Experience presenting in a small and large group setting o Prior teaching or instructing experience o Industrial industry knowledge or experience o Knowledge of adult learning methodologies ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
