You will play a key role in ensuring the that our world class software products are solving our client’s needs. As a professional software developer, you will play a key role in analyzing, investigating and providing solutions for our fielded product. You will work on critical issues for our Oncology focused suite of applications , specifically working on the interface that allows our suite to work with an ever growing number of software systems used by hospitals & clinics around the world.
In this role you will:
Work closely with development team in India and Canada
Effectively manage time to get good overlap with global teams
Works as a scrum team member participating in scrum meetings
Follow good practices of documentation.
Bachelor’s Degree : Computer Science or related studies
2-6 yrs development experience
Strong hands-on programming skills in Java as a primary language.
Strong fundamentals of software design principles - OOPS, REST API, SOA, and Web Services etc.
Hands on experience on MS SQL Database – writing performance optimized queries
Understanding of Build Management, Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD)
Experience working with source control like Azure DevOps/Git.
Desired Skills and Knowledge
Any previous experience with HL7 interface engine like cloverleaf/mirth will be added advantage
Good knowledge of scripting language like groovy will be an added advantage.
Good written and verbal communication (English), and strong interpersonal skills.
Full stack development skills will be an added advantage.
Exposure to Healthcare domain will be an added advantage.
Varian is required to comply with all local and applicable regulations that may be associated with vaccine requirements for certain roles.
