Job Summary

Coordinate the various functions and work activities of employees assigned to support the respective system. Has authority to make changes in the system as required and manage the system end-to-end so as to ensure optimal overall safe, reliable performance.

Job Description

Plant System Owner (Grade 6) ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Troubleshoot, analyze and correct problems with assigned plant system.

  • Implement and assist with process improvement projects and/or related programs.

  • Coordinate activities of employees in maintenance, energy production, lab, coal handling or outside contractors as required.

  • Consult with or actively seek advice from Region Plant Engineering,

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education requirements are listed below: Engineering degree from ABET accredited school or another degree and equivalent experience.

Work Experience requirement listed below: Three years of plant experience plus the engineering degree; or 7 years of plant experience plus a Non engineering degree. Must have the ability to read and understand technical documentation. Must be able to communicate clearly to craft and management pe reports in a clear and concise. Must have organizational skills necessary to maintain files and documentation related to position.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Rotation technologies and equipment used in fossil, hydro, or renewable energy generation (e.g., turbines, generators, pumps, and compressors)

  • Machine shop / machining knowledge

  • Managing multiple departments and supervisors to handle a dynamic workload based on fleet needs

  • Project Management and Scheduling experience that encompasses simultaneously managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Plant System Owner Sr. (Grade 7) ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Troubleshoot, analyze and correct problems with assigned plant system.

  • Implement and assist with process improvement projects and/or related programs.

  • Coordinate activities of employees in maintenance, energy production, lab, coal handling or outside contractors as required.

  • Consult with or actively seek advice from Region Plant Engineering,

Basic Qualifications:
