Position Title: Technical Architect

Location: 175 Addison Rd, Ste. 6F, Windsor, CT 06095 and unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S.

Position Responsibilities: Perform requirement gathering and analysis, and actively participate in requirement clarification sessions and user-story grooming sessions for software architecture. Design, develop, and test business applications & solutions based on functional and non-functional requirements. Demonstrate user stories to product owners. Participate in all the technical discussions related to user stories. Participate in design/code reviews and provide ideas, feedback, and solutions. Provide technical guidance to team members. Support bug fixing of the issues reported. Maintain regular contact with team leads, architects, and product owners. Status reporting to supervisor and all key stakeholders.

Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, OR a related field PLUS five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: C++; VC++; C#.NET; ASP.NET; JAVA; SQL; PowerShell; ASP.NET; JavaScript; Web Services; REST API; Ajax; XML; HTML; CSS; Microsoft .NET; Visual Studio; NUnit; Eclipse; JUnit; VSS; JIRA; UML; Visio; MS Access; MySQL; Oracle; technical architecture, design, and development; troubleshooting & debugging software code; technical documentation, and; application support & maintenance. Travel to unanticipated client locations approximately 30% as required. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
