Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?

As a Sr. Learning Coordinator, you will organize all aspects of learning/development programs and activities for supported line of business (workshops, instructors, rooms, events, and programs), report on analyzes the outcomes of learning programs and act as a subject matter expert for relevant learning systems and learning administration processes. This role does not manage others but may mentor and guide more junior staff.

What Will You Do?

  • Is the subject matter expert/owner and key point of contact for relevant learning systems, including but not limited to LMS, data collection tools, data analysis tools, course administration tools, learning evaluation tools, SharePoint and SharePoint design tools.

  • Coordinates or supervises the maintenance, production and assembly of instruction materials. Orders and maintains supplies, equipment and/or services to support training classes.

  • Works collaboratively with business partners to assess training demands. Determines best technology for specific training demands. Works with business partners to ensure learning process is optimized.

  • Based on organizational strategies, implements changing technologies to transition from classroom to virtual learning.

  • Analyzes learning data for management review.

  • Provides subject matter consultative support for training programs regarding logistic management to maximize user experience while simultaneously capturing learning data at maximum efficiency on the back-end for later reference and review.

  • Communicates space reservations within the learning facility that meet facilitator and learner needs. Takes ownership of shared Outlook mailbox, communicating timely to learner enrollment requests.

  • Administers all aspects of invoice processing and charge-back to business unit.

  • Responsible for expense management and travel logistics and approves ARIBA and travel-related expenses. Communicates travel details to Travelers’ travel vendor, FCM Travel Solutions (FCM), and secures hotel space for upcoming training classes. Often responsible for managing large travel budgets (potentially up to $1.5 million). Works independently to sign and negotiate contracts with various third parties (hotels, etc.) and handles problems and issues as they arise.

  • Works closely with and handles vendor relationships (Alphagraphics, etc.).

  • May mentor or assist in training more junior level staff.

  • May provide administrative support to Sr Management.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

  • College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

  • 3 or more years of related work experience preferred.

  • Experience in a learning environment with learning systems administration, processes and platforms preferred.

  • Experience analyzing and identifying trends in data, especially using Excel.

  • Previous experience working with vendor or service providers (process engineering, contract negotiation, etc.).

  • Fluency in various learning mechanisms and processes.

  • Intermediate level of proficiency with common Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends.

  • Strong analytic skills and ability to use Excel (v-lookups, Pivot Tables, etc.).

  • Ability to influence and mentor facilitators, designers, developers and more junior staff on learning administrative systems and processes.

  • Advanced knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.

  • In depth knowledge of learning management systems, desktop software, and A/V equipment used in the unit.

  • In depth knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques.

  • Ability to develop training aids/instructional materials.

  • Ability to use the accounts payable system, manage large budgets, and manage vendor relationships.

What is a Must Have?

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a learning coordinator, administrative, or related role.
