Roles & Responsibilities:

  • As an Agreements Negotiator, you will be a member of multiple Strategic Sourcing Category Teams. In this role, you will be responsible for developing commodity and agreement strategies, preparing and evaluating RFPs, drafting, negotiating and executing agreements with our supply base.Responsibilities also include fully understanding the commodities, including market conditions and key suppliers within this market. Work will include pricing, teaming, and collaborative agreements along with Memorandum of Understanding and intellectual property licenses

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

  • 10+ years of experience including, but not limited to, contracts and/or subcontract management and overall business experience or advance degree in related field + 7+ years of experience

  • Proven negotiator, either on the sell or the buy sideHands-on experience with project management

  • Knowledge of and experience in the areas of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DoD Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplements (DFARS), and related laws and regulations affecting government contracting

  • Experience in developing and/or managing supplier/partner relationships

  • Excellent written and communication skills

  • Experience with Supply Chain processes and functions

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams or experience with project / program management

Desired Skills:

  • Advanced cost and price analysis skills

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.

  • Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.

  • Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.

  • Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

  • Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM

  • Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
