As the Regional Manager, you will supervise and manage the overall site operations of the LSS Meals Nutrition Program in a designated geographic area for 12-20 LSS Bistros, kitchens, Diner's Club locations, and catering contracts. This is a full-time salaried position that requires travel across 5-7 counties in Southwest Minnesota. Successful candidate needs team management experience, ideally in hospitality or food service management experience. Hospital, Assisted Living, etc. are most ideal but open to other multi-team management experience. Major Responsibilities/Activities: Program Management activities to include the development, planning, implementation, and maintenance of congregate and meals on wheels service for nutrition-related activities at nutrition sites. Supervision and Management of the personnel including staff and volunteers. Maintenance of Records and Compliance policies. Organization and maintenance of a Regional Advisory Council (including recruiting, managing, communicating, and providing leadership and guidance to local Council). Network and represent the agency (including building partnerships) at the local level with primary emphasis on older adult and senior nutrition program activities. Fundraising and Development to support Senior Nutrition programming in local Region (including sponsorships, donations, grants, and special events). Marketing of LSS Meals nutrition and nutrition programming in order to reach more clients. Assist the Assistant Directors and Statewide Program Director in implementing new ideas for programming that will meet the needs of current and potential clients. Assist in staff training, annual all-staff meetings, and annual site manager's training. Work with LSS Central Support Services, Finance, Development, IT, Marketing, HR to engage and enlist needed support. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred, but not required. Experience preferred in human services or food services and hospitality area. Development/fundraising experience is beneficial. General knowledge of foodservice and nutrition is beneficial. Must be willing to become ServeSafe Certified and also be willing to hold a Food Manager's Certificate with the state of Minnesota. The incumbent must be willing and able to transport supplies to sites. The incumbent must possess writing skills for report writing and summary reports to the supervisor and possesses basic budgeting and mathematical concepts. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate and interact with a variety of individuals are essential. The incumbent must be able to function successfully within a heavy workload and multiple requests for information and assistance. The incumbent must be able to think analytically, problem-solve, and work under pressure.
