We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales and Marketing Intern to join our team this summer.  As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of market research, sales support, and sales methods.  

 

This internship is a paid position and will provide valuable skills and knowledge for your future career in Sales/Marketing.  This position will consist of 30-40 hours per week, no nights, or weekends.  

 

Starting pay: $12/hour, with potential bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Become knowledgeable of our products and sales process.

``` - Qualify and call sales leads. - Collect and correct new and current customer contact information in customer database for all three steel service centers. - Determine Industry classification of customers by: - Research on Internet - Discussing with Inside Salespeople - Discussing with Outside Salespeople - Discussing with Customer directly. - Contribute new marketing ideas and strategies. - Other Sales and marketing support activities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a career in sales or marketing
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Good research skills and attention to detail.
