CACI is looking for a System Engineer to support a FOIA case management solution who ideally has experience supporting system Operation and Maintenance in a cloud environment. You will be responsible for monitoring system operation, troubleshooting issues impacting system operation and performance, and supporting the correction and enhancement of the system’s software modules and other work products to meet customer’s business requirements for new features, enhancement of existing capabilities, and correction of defects identified in the system. You will participate in project planning, system design, and implementation activities for new system capabilities and enhancement of existing functionality. They support the deployment and testing of software and respond to testing feedback. Based on analysis, they make recommendations and advise on system improvements, automation, and risk management. You will interface with other members of the team to ensure they have a clear understanding of system issues and requirements. You will support the development of system and user documentation as well as other training materials as appropriate to promote adoption and use of the system.

More About the Role:

  • Perform Level 1 troubleshooting and resolution of user reported system issues.

  • Work with JIRA to track issues, update progress, and document resolutions.

  • Support Subject Matter Experts across the software development life cycle as well as the Operations and Maintenance of the system.

  • Serves as a resource for analyzing, validating, refining, and documenting business requirements as stated in user stories.

  • Collaborate with other members of the team to plan and execute sprints for delivering incremental functionality to the system.

  • Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs.

  • Work with other members of the team create, document, and validate test cases.

  • Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive) by assessing business process and system inefficiencies.

  • Potential for hybrid on-site and remote work.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret Clearance

  • US Citizen

  • Undergraduate Degree

  • 10+ years of experience

  • Works independently with general supervision

  • Demonstrate up-to-date experience supporting and troubleshooting complex, web-based systems

  • Able to solve difficult and complex problems and issues effectively with guidance

  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively in a team environment

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the cloud / on-premise cloud environments.

  • Stay current with customer needs and strategies; utilizing formal and informal written communication methods (for example, emails, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, executive updates, task lists, updates) to communicate updates and findings; and facilitating project meetings and presentations to all types of diverse audiences (for example, senior management, Customers, technical staff)

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Experience with FOIA Case Management

  • Providing advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices

  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence

  • Experience with Section 508 (WCAG) web accessibility
