TEKsystems SCRA Specialist in Winchester, Virginia

TEKsystems is searching for qualified candidates to fill a SCRA Specialist position with a Fortune 100 Company in the Winchester area to start in April. This is a hybrid role which will require you to be onsite at least 2 days per week.

Job Description:

To review and process requests for interest rate reduction under the Service member Civil Relief Act (SCRA) qualifications. Serve members by answering SCRA inquiries and questions pertaining to Credit Unions lending products via internal and external communication platforms including private and federal educational loans. Create and execute daily, weekly and monthly reporting to Executive and Senior leadership. Level I: Work under moderate supervision.

Day 2 Day Responsibilities:

  • Up to 2-4 hours shifts on the phones per day: Inbound calls mainly with some outbound calls for additional docs/information needed from members if its missing.

  • Inbound Calls: Specific to SCRA: They are a back office department which the calls are filtered from other departments. Call types are mainly status updates for members.

  • Call Volume: Anywhere from 1-5 calls during on phone shift period

  • High paced, production-based work environment

  • Administrative Tasks: Auditing files, selecting the correct letters to be assigned to the correct account, and imaging documentation that needs to be assigned to a content manager

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required

  • 1-3 years of recent strong administrative work experience

  • Must be able to work independently

  • Analytical/Critical Thinking skills

  • Highly motivated

  • Ability to review and identifying gaps

  • Ability to thoroughly understand processes and implement them in an accurate and timely

  • Strong computer skills, data entry, and proficient in basic Microsoft Excel

Training Hours: Monday-Friday 9 :00am-5:30pm for approx. 6 weeks

Work Schedule (after training): Monday-Friday 11:00am-7:30pm

Location: HYBRID requirement minimum of 2 days a week onsite

Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
