Position Title: Receiving Operator, B shift, Apple Valley

Job Summary:

As a Receiving Operator in the Commercial Group, located in Winchester, VA you will report to the receiving supervisor. This position will work as part of a team having responsibility for moving freight, stock, or other materials and keeping track of inventory.

Job Responsibilities

Move freight, stock, or other material to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles or containers by hand or using industrial vehicles.

Inspect all incoming trailers and containers and document any damage to trailers, containers, product, material or equipment being transported.

Use computer inventory system to track and keep accurate inventory records

Maintain a safe and accident free environment by adhering to safety standards and identifying safety issues

Keep work area clean

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred, experience will be considered in lieu of education

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Must be able to lift 40lbs.

Internal candidates cannot have more than 3 ½ points in attendance or 1 st written warning in last 3 months, 2 nd written warning in last 6 months, final within the last year

Preferred Qualifications

Must be a team player and able to communicate effectively with co-workers and leadership

Forklift experience required
