SRS Distribution Inc. Regional Account Manager in Winchester, Tennessee

Job Duties:

  • Prospect- Must be a hunter and be able to effectively build a robust pipeline of potential customers

  • Convert- Must be able to convert prospects into customers, utilizing an effective sales process

  • Maintain and retain customers- Must create a customer experience that demonstrates that the value of doing business with you outweighs the cost of doing business with your competitor

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the customers’ organization

  • Determine how purchasing responsibilities are delegated within an organization how to maximize opportunity and profitability by selling a complete mix of products

  • Stay up to date on the applications and benefits of the products you sell

  • Stay on top of business and industry trends, always looking for ways to profitably grow your business

  • Work primarily within a 150-200-mile radius of your distribution center

  • Work with accounts receivable to resolve issues and to ensure customers’ stay current

    Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven and successful track record of growing and managing a multi-million-dollar territory in a B2B environment, preferably selling roofing and/or building products to lumber yards. Ability to demonstrate how you achieved year-over-year revenue growth and how you will achieve the same results at BSD

  • Understanding key business drivers for your customer base

  • Have a passion for being a business partner with your customer, providing an experience that creates value and helps them achieve their key business objectives

  • Must be able to embrace mindset of our “Make Money, Have Fun and Give Back!” culture

  • Self-starter and strong work ethic, with the ability to makes sound business decisions with minimal supervision.

  • Effective time management skills

  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to, “Win friends and influence people”

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Proficiency with MS Office products for email, presentations, reports, and spreadsheets

  • Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation

  • At least 50% travel, including overnight stays

  • Able to pass criminal and driving background check and a pre-employment drug test

  • Authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship for any length of time
