G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers, Inc. Merchandiser Associate - Part Time in Winchester, Kentucky

Position Summary The Merchandiser Associate serves our customers by merchandising our products to established standards in order to increase company sales and profits. Essential Functions Stocks, rotates, and displays all products to established standards (e.g. coolers, vendors). Adheres to all company policies, standards and procedures (e.g. OSHA and safety requirements, AIB and Pepsi standards, Federal/State/Local Laws; wears all required personal protective equipment. Communicates with retailers and Pepsi management team on issues regarding pricing, products, programs and problems that arise in the store. Maintains a clean, neat and organized backroom at retailer locations according to established standards. Trains employees to perform merchandiser job duties in accordance with established standards. Assist and/or fills in for Account Manager as needed by ordering appropriate amount of product to be delivered to customer in order to satisfy customer's needs. Completes time-off requests, daily reports and other required paperwork according to established standards. Maintains confidentiality of pricing, customer information, and other sensitive and confidential information. Works in conjunction with Account Manager and Store Management to identify opportunities to increase the sales and profitability of the company through proper use of Point Of Sale materials, communication of price/value and securing displays. Communicates with co-workers about merchandising situations in order to maintain established customer service standards. Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required. Experience Minimum of 6 -12 months prior grocery merchandising or stocking experience preferred. Certificates & Licenses Must have valid driver's license; must be insurable to operate a vehicle, as a condition of initial and continued employment. Ability to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed Additional Requirements Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs to 100 lbs manually and up to 2000 lbs mechanically.
