PDS Tech Inc Electrical Engineer in Wilsonville, Oregon

PDS Tech Commercial, Inc is seeking candidates for an Electrical Engineer (FPGA) in Wilsonville, OR:

This senior level position is primarily an FPGA firmware verification position for a military camera system. This position requires a background in complex FPGA firmware design and verification. Some experience with video FPGA firmware design or image processing algorithms is preferred. Design and verification in a process-controlled environment similar to DO-254 is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Verify FPGA firmware for a military application

• Review requirements for a new firmware designs using enterprise tools such as Jama Connect

• Create a test approach, outline, and description for chip and module level verification in Microsoft Word

• Implement simulation testbenches to verify requirements in QuestaSim using VHDL

• Support the hardware verification team as needed

• Present FPGA verification approach to certification authority

• Oversee efforts and train less experienced designers

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR

• Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum 3 years of experience

• Must be a U.S. Person / Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with AMD (Xilinx) FPGAs and Vivado

• Experience creating test benches and simulating with QuestaSim

Pay Details: $63.67 per hour
