Electrical Engineer Location: Wilsonville, OR Job ID: #69110 Pay Range: $54-$66 an hour (w2 only) Job Description The Vision and Sensor Systems Electrical Engineer is responsible for all electrical engineering tasks related to the design, analysis, test and certification of aerospace Head-Up Displays, Helmet Mounted Displays, and Avionics Vision Systems in both commercial and military fields. This senior level position is primarily a digital hardware verification position for a military camera system. This position requires a background in digital hardware design and verification. Some experience with video processing hardware or image processing algorithms is preferred. Design and verification in a process-controlled environment similar to DO-254 is a plus. Primary Responsibilities: • Verify digital hardware for a military application • Review requirements for a new digital hardware design using enterprise tools such as Jama Connect • Create a test approach, outline, and description for hardware level verification in Microsoft Word • Perform dry-runs and run-for-score on hardware test procedures • Present hardware verification approach to the certification authority • Oversee efforts and train less experienced designers Basic Qualifications: • Bachelors degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR • Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum 3 years of experience • Must be a U.S. Person / Permanent Resident Green Card holder • Experience in electrical hardware design and verification Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with formal hardware verification in either an aerospace or medical application • Experience working with C++ applications in Visual Studio • Experience with image or video processing in MATLAB Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is proud to provide an equal opportunity workplace and be an affirmative action employer.
