The Opportunity: In this role, you will report to the Onsite Hiring Manager and will work closely with the Avantor's Lab and Production Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science. Location: Wilmington, OH Shifts: Monday- Friday 7am - 3:30pm Biweekly Pay Rate: $18.99/hr. Capable of lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Meticulous attention to detail. Engaged in tasks involving pushing carts and moving boxes. How you will thrive and create an impact Avantor's Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support. In this role you will: Manage chemical handling, including solvents, flammables, and oxidizers. Perform glass washing and restocking to maintain laboratory supplies and uphold 5S standards. Organize and store materials appropriately. Coordinate with Hazardous Materials (HM) personnel for necessary material reorders. Maintain accurate documentation and input data into Excel spreadsheets for customer metrics. Utilize the Avantor Inventory Manager for inventory control. Employ RF scanner technology to track received items, particularly chemicals used. Wear steel toe shoes as a safety requirement. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training protocols.
