Description Purpose: Supervision of the Inventory Control Team, using analytical skills and tools to optimize the distribution, and availability of aircraft materials. To ensure the most cost effective and efficient means of providing aircraft parts, tooling, and materials to the airline multiple stations and warehouses, remaining compliant of the standards set forth by Federal Aviation Administration, IATA, Company and other regulatory entities. Job Functions: Implement and enforce processes and procedures to ensure the timely and accurate allocations of materials globally. Develop tools and perform analysis for inventory requirements based on fleet type, schedules and customer requirements Supervise and guide the Inventory Control Team to ensure accurate inventory stocking and movement throughout the global supply chain. Work with the different departments to ensure routine and standard part requirements are being met at all the global locations, as well as standard items at heavy maintenance facilities. Work with the different Materials Departments to ensure allocations are kept up to date with regards to not only the allocation levels but also the ability to provide materials in a timely fashion to all the stations. Provide routine reports to the Materials Management Team with regards to all inventory control functions. Any other duties as assigned by Management Position Requirements: High School diploma required Minimum five (5) years' experience in an Inventory Control related field required Excellent analytical skills required Excellent Microsoft Excel skills required Ability to oversee complex work processes and assign and prioritize work accordingly required Excellent written and verbal communication skills required Time Management and Problem-Solving skills required Preferred Job Skills: Associates degree desired; Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field preferred Two (2) years supervisory level experience in the aviation industry preferred Experience with and an understanding of the company computer system preferred Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite preferred Physical Requirements: Employees are regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.
