Overview

Novant Health is hiring a PACU registered nurse for the Mid-shift at our New Hanover Regional Medical Center location in Wilmington, NC.  We’re offering up a $7,500 relocation bonus. 

  • Schedule : Full-Time, 0.9 FTE, 72 Hours per 2 weeks, Mid/Night Shift, 1:00pm – 10:00pm

About our PACU team:

We're actively recruiting a registered nurse to complement our team, operating within a highly dynamic and fast-paced unit where we handle up to 100 cases daily. Candidates with ICU or other high-acuity backgrounds are particularly encouraged to apply, as your expertise will be invaluable in meeting the demands of our environment. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting patients throughout their surgical journey.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.  

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.  

  • Current valid North Carolina nursing license required.  

  • One year of strong ICU experience, preferred.

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
