Aerotek GSE Mechanic in Wilmington, North Carolina

Looking for a GSE Mechanic to work in Wilmington, NC!**

Essential Functions:

• Comply with and ensure accountability for Company policies and procedures related to GSE standards, safety, and security procedures.

• Establish, implement, and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for site’s fleet of ground service equipment and fuel farm.

• Perform repairs on downed equipment.

• Maintain stock of necessary parts and fluids in accordance with the PMS and consistent with guidance from the Operations Manager and General Manager

• Oversee QC program in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Perform facility maintenance as needed.

• Maintain parts and tools inventories.

• Ensure a culture that promotes first class customer service and safety through daily observations, shift briefings, routine audits, usage of Baldwin SMS, monthly service/safety meetings, training, and documented service/safety procedures.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal customers and business partners.

• Additional duties as directed by the Operations Manager or General Manager from time to time

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Requires three (3) years of progressive management experience including maintenance of FBO equipment.

• Ability to operate a multitude of aircraft ground support equipment (ie: Tug, tow bars, GPU, air start, floor machine, belt loader, LAV cart, forklift)

• Must have a strong commitment to results

• Must possess computer knowledge in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Customer service experience

• FBO/Aviation experience

• Forklift experience preferred
