Position Overview:

The Foreman oversees a construction crew working on job site, making sure work is compliant with installation and safety standards. Manages the field operations with a focus on safety, compliance, efficiency, cost management and innovation. Manages construction activities to ensure company procedures are followed and compliance is maintained relative to all applicable local, state, and federal requirements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee construction crew on job site, ensuring work is compliant with installation and safety standards.

  • Manage field operations with a focus on safety, compliance, efficiency, cost management, and innovation.

  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable local, state, and federal requirements.

  • Supervise construction crew and provide hands-on assistance.

  • Manage large projects with at least 5 employees on a crew.

  • Complete required paperwork daily, including timesheets, as-builts or service cards, production reports, traceability documentation, and customer pay sheets.

  • Train crew members in accordance with company safety policies.

  • Act as the single point of contact for customers, inspectors, subcontractors, and vendors working in the field.

  • Supervise daily operations according to job specifications and customer requirements.

  • Monitor site for changing safety conditions and address related issues.

  • Ensure satisfactory job completion and keep construction progress in line with project schedule and cost estimate.

  • Ensure all work is compliant with installation standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma (preferred).

  • Proficient knowledge of gas installation techniques and standards.

  • Five (5) years of field experience as a foreman in the natural gas industry.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of gas-pipeline construction and replacement experience,

  • Proficient knowledge of gas installation techniques and standards

  • Ability to read and draft blueprints (as-builts).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong interpersonal and team-oriented skills

  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, management skills,

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Successful candidates must be willing to undergo a drug screening and background check.
