Robert Half Staff Accountant in Wilmington, Delaware

Description Salary: $65,000 - $85,000/Year + 10% Bonus

Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Phenomenal company with a great track record of work life balance, ½ days on Friday, food trucks. Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including financial management, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills and a solid understanding of financial accounting principles.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.

• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

The Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related major

• 2+ years of related work experience with a track record of increasing responsibility

• Significant knowledge and experience of U.S. GAAP. STAT experience a plus.

• Audit background a huge plus Requirements
