Description

One of our innovative clients within the pharmaceutical industry seeks a FP& A Sr. Manager with pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life science expertise. This role will consist of providing analytical and budget support, strategic financial planning, management reporting, developing and maintaining accurate financial forecasts, providing insight into financial performance, preparing financial reports, assisting with creating development plans, providing variance analysis, building and maintaining complex financial models, and analyzing and evaluating the financial implications of various strategic initiatives. We are looking for a FP& A Sr. Manager with proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.

How you will make an impact

· Manage the annual budget and strategic planning process

· Provide quantitative analysis of finances

· Conduct thorough research of historical financial data

· Analyze business opportunities and investments

· Lead efforts to business unit profitability

· Create revenue generating, strategic initiatives

· Develop and gain deep business understanding of financial drivers

· Meet appropriate business deadlines

· Monitor performance indicators for profit and loss

· Utilize data visualization tools

· Establish financial policies

Requirements

The ideal FP& A Sr. Manager will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

Other requirements for the FP& A Sr. Manager role include and are not limited to:

· FP& A background with 5-7 years of experience

· MBA, CPA is a plus

· Industries Preferred: Pharmaceutical/Chemical/Manufacturing

· Proficient to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PP)

· IFRS and US GAAP knowledge a MUST
