Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a diligent HR Coordinator in the construction/contractor industry. The role is based in Wilmington, California, and revolves around supporting the HR Generalist with administrative tasks, maintaining personnel files, and handling HR-related documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the HR Generalist in daily administrative tasks

• Utilize Excel to manage and organize HR-related data

• Create and maintain personnel files ensuring up-to-date and accurate information

• Handle confidential documents with utmost discretion

• Leverage Microsoft Excel skills to develop and manage complex HR-related excel formulas

• Respond promptly to HR inquiries and provide necessary support

• Collaborate with the HR team to ensure smooth HR operations

• Utilize your HR experience to contribute to HR projects and initiatives

• Ensure all HR activities comply with federal and state laws

• Maintain and update electronic and physical HR files. Requirements • Prior experience of a minimum of one year in a similar HR role within the construction or contractor industry.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the creation and management of complex Excel formulas.

• Ability to maintain and organize files in an orderly, accessible manner.

• Demonstrated history of handling confidential documents with discretion and professionalism.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Capacity to multitask and prioritize work requirements in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

• Familiarity with basic HR functions and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
