Senior Application Developer (VB.NET/C#/REST)

We are seeking a Senior Application Developer (VB.NET/C#/REST) to join our IT team. The role is based out of our corporate headquarters in Willow Grove, PA and reports directly to the IT Billing Systems Supervisor. The individual will be a member of the small development team supporting our corporate billing applications. Job skills include requirements analysis, design, coding, and unit testing activities. Position entails both new development and maintenance of existing systems.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Primarily develops and maintains desktop applications using VB.Net, C#, Oracle PL\SQL, Web Services, REST APIs.

  • Creates and maintains screens, reports and interfaces to meet business requirements.

  • Prepares appropriate technical documentation including status reports as required.

  • Has effective multi-tasking skills and enjoys the challenge of working in a very fluid environment.

  • Responds to off-hour production issues as necessary.

  • Provides support for other systems as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.

  • Systems Development experience - 5 years minimum.

  • Ability to work well in a team setting.

  • Solid troubleshooting and communication skills.

Technical Qualifications:

  • Programming Experience using Visual Studio VB.Net, C#, ASP.Net, Oracle PL\SQL, JSON, REST APIs and Crystal Reports

  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience a plus.

  • Familiar with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Systems Development Best Practices

  • Experience / Familiarity with SQL tuning techniques a plus.

  • Experience / Familiarity with Data Science techniques a plus

  • Experience / Familiarity with Data Engineering techniques a plus.

Pre-Screen
