Utility Technician- Refrigeration/Boiler Operator Willmar, MN.

9:00pm-5:30am ,Sun-Thurs & weekends when needed.

Pay Range: Varies on experience

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Safely and efficiently operate plant equipment (HVAC, Boilers, Refrigeration, Air Compressors and Hot water systems) in accordance with OSHA, EPA, IIAR and other agencies.

  2. Must be able to complete PMs in a timely manner.

  3. Must be able to work independently and with others.

  4. Must be able to lift 50lbs

  5. Other duties as assigned by Management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Excellent Written and Oral communication skills (English)

  • Be a member of the Hazwoper team and pass SCBA physical.

  • Obtain Special High Pressure Minnesota boiler license within 6 months of hiring

  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining ammonia equipment, air compressor, hot water systems, HVAC and boiler room equipment.

  • Able to work scheduled weekends and/or holidays.

  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States

  • Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience working with and on refrigeration systems and equipment.

  • 2 nd Class, or 1 st Class high pressure Minnesota boiler’s license.

  • CARO/CIRO certified.
