Job Posting: Dental Assistant with X-ray - Pediatric

 

Position Summary 

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team at Willingboro Family Dental. This position also required travel to Cherry Hill Family Dental, Main Street Dental-Deptford, and Toms River Family Dental. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include working under the supervision of dentists, performing chairside duties, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients throughout their treatment. 

 

Qualifications 

  • NJ Dental Assistant License required 

  • X-ray License required 

  • High School diploma or GED required 

  • 1+ years' work experience as a Dental Assistant preferred 

     

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Clearly demonstrate knowledge of dental instruments and assist the dentist in rendering patient care chairside. 

  • Be able to perform basic lab procedures like taking impressions, pouring models, and prepare cases for external labs. 

  • Maintaining inventory control in the operatories where treatment is rendered by the Provider 

  • Adhering to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines 

  • Deliver world class patient interactions related to scheduling, follow up treatment, post­ surgical information and record keeping 

  • Maintaining public area appearance 

  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned 

  • Requires some flexibility in scheduling, such as the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed 

     

Knowledge and Skills 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment  

  • Knowledge of dental instruments and patient care. 

  • Ability to clearly communicate medical information to professional practitioners and/or the public. 

  • Excellent organization, prioritization, follow up, analytical and time management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
