Retail Operations Specialists are responsible for branch operational support and training, including helping the Retail Operations Supervisor with procedural and audit support, training, and other related project work.   • Build strong relationships and partnerships with branches and line of business partners.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to both branch and back-office partners by p roviding superior customer service.

    Experience and competencies:

  • Retail Banking experience in both teller and relationship banker required. Supervisory preferred.

  • Knowledge of Horizon core system strongly preferred.

  • Superior critical thinking, judgement, and decision-making skills

  • Project Management experience

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Superior time management skills

  • Adaptable to a constantly changing work environment, Ability to manage large workloads.

  • Team player with a positive attitude

  • Desire to learn and cross-train within Operations.

  • Willingness and ability to travel to our 18 branches across WNY and Rochester

  • Willingness and ability to work occasional Saturdays, early mornings, and evenings.

  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.

    This position is anticipated to pay a base rate between $37,846/annually and $55,618/annually. This rate does not include potential incentive pay and benefits paid for by the company which may be in addition to the base rate of pay. The base rate of pay is determined by factors such as required experience, skill set needed, business impact of position, value of budget oversight and people management, among other factors. Your Talent Acquisition Specialist will be able to answer specific questions you may have regarding the base pay range for this position.
