Job Location: Williamsport, PA

 

Under limited supervision, perform/assist in construction, maintenance and repair of plant facilities, grounds and equipment.  Perform duties that require a skilled level of proficiency in at least one of the maintenance skill sets and a basis for knowledge in other skill sets.  Work in a team environment assisting others outside of your skill set to complete tasks.

  • Judgment and initiative will be required in selecting proper work method.  Typical examples: diagnosing electrical circuit failures, repairing fixtures, determining cause of mechanical failures, repairing or modifying plumbing.

``` - Have basic knowledge of code requirement for skill in which most proficient. - Know and perform procedures required in handling an emergency plant shutdown situation. - Read and understand blueprints.  Work may also involve occasional use of shop mathematics. - Perform other related duties as assigned. - Maintain work area in clean and orderly manner. - Perform work as required in order to conform to acceptable standards of quality. - Follow all security and safety instructions.

Qualifications:

  • Approximately 2 to 3 years of working experience in the field of building maintenance construction, or equipment repair and proficiency in any one of the following: plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, mechanics, etc.
  • Or minimum of two years as Plant Maintenance C with proficiency in one of the areas mentioned.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
