SOME OF THE JOB SPECIFICITIES

  • Williamsport area employer seeking cemetery maintenance supervisor capable of operating a backhoe and other equipment as necessary in the care and maintenance of a cemetery.
  • Manage a crew of 15 during peak season and 4 during the winter.
  • Maintain landscaping of gravesites and cemetery; grass cutting, weed-whacking, leaf blowing, tree and shrub trimming.
  • Dig graves according to specifications in a hilly and occasionally challenging terrain.
  • Mechanically inclined - Vehicles and small engines and related tools
  • Experience in masonry; carpentry, welding, and related tools
  • Snow removal, and basic road maintenance

  • The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, 45 min. lunch.  Occasional Saturday mornings (normally 7:30 am to noon but can run longer)
