Garner Behavior Services, LLC Behavior Health Technician - BHT in Williamsport, Pennsylvania

GBS,LLC is an IBHS-ABA center that provides intensive therapy and in-home ABA therapy for young children with Autism. We are seeking Behavior Health Technicians to provide ABA over-site and staff training for clients in both our Lycoming and Union County Centers.

POSITION SUMMARY

The positions of BHT provides individuaIized, one-to-one ABA support to children in both a clinic, community, school/preschool and home setting.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Degree (provide officia I tra nscripl of highest level or education)

• Must complete required 40-hour ABA lra ining

• Physically able to meet demands of position

• Able to lift at least 50 pounds

• Able to move and twist

• Able to get on floor and quickly stand up

• Must be able to assume and maintain a variety or postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting in child size chairs, standing, etc) for extended periods of lime

• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and communication system (cell phone)

• Must be willing and able to block aggression and utilize quick body movements as indicated in the treatment plan

• Must accept typical risks when working with children with challenging behaviors

• Must be able to take feedback from supervisor and implement feedback

• Must be able to decipher detailed infomia lion through ora I communica lion

• Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through a variety of modalities.

• Must have basic English rcading skiHs and basic math skills (addition, figuring out percentages, etc)

• Provide copies of cunent CPR, Chi.Id Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprinting, Criminal Clearance, and copy of degree/transcript, and three pro fessiona I references.

• May not have any report or history of ethica I issues, Iega I actions against you, felonies, or misdemeanors Minimum Training and Experience for Behavior Health Technician/RBT: This is a good fit for applicants with gaps in their resume, or who have been out of the workforce for the past 6 months or more.
