West Virginia Employer Clinical Nutrition Manager in Williamson, West Virginia
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Proof of passing the national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or the National Board Examination for Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN). Participates in continuing educational requirements to maintain registration. _EXPERIENCE: Previous experience preferred, but not required. _PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Completes annual education requirements. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times. Adheres to dress code, appearance is neat and clean. Maintains regulatory requirements, including all federal, state, local regulations and accrediting organization standards. Maintains and ensures patient confidentiality at all times. Wears identification while on duty. Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures regarding department operations, fire safety, emergency management and infection prevention and control. Effectively and consistently communicates administrative directive to staff and encourages interactive departmental meetings and discussions. Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices. Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the facility, as well as the focus statement of the department. __NATURE OF WORK: Plans, coordinates and manages all patient nutritional care activities. Develops and implements cost effective, profit generating nutritional programs. Supervises clinical staff in the Nutritional Services Department. Meets all regulatory compliance regulations and standards.
