Family Priority Community Based Clinical Supervisor/Manager in Williamsburg, Virginia

GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR THE RIGHT PERSON! JOIN AN ESTABLISHED AGENCY TO SUPERVISE WELL EDUCATED AND EXPERIENCED STAFF. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A DYNAMIC MANAGER TO BE PART OF OUR TEAM! THIS UNIQUE POSITION WILL BE A HYBRID OF IN-PERSON (WILLIASMBURG)  and VIRTUAL (NORTHERN VA) 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists Clinical Director and Director with the design and development of the clinical aspects of program services for our Williamsburg and Fairfax office (virtually) 

  • Assists in hiring staff and assigning cases

  • Provides clinical supervision of home-based workers

  • Completes clinical assessments and provides in-home therapy sessions as needed

  • Assists Director and Clinical Director with identification and resolution of problems or gaps in service delivery

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

  • A master’s degree in social work, psychology or a related field from an accredited college or university;

  • A current LPC or LCSW in Virginia with the ability to provide licensure supervision in the state of Virginia;

  • A minimum of three years of experience providing mental health treatment to troubled children and families;

  • A minimum of one year of supervisory experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Thorough knowledge of principles and techniques of youth and family counseling;

  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other social services providers, service purchases and service recipients.

  • Strong Supervision Expereince
