To be a successful VP of QA-PI you must become able to do the following always:

  1. Responsible for the leadership and oversight of the QA/PI Department, Policies, and the annual Performance Measurement & Management Plan.
  2. Create and monitor budget for department financial success.
  3. Provide direct supervision and support of supervisees utilizing the Companys model for supervision, Supervision for Success.
  4. Analyze operational performance to identify potential gains and opportunities and drive systematic improvements throughout the Company. Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning of new programs/strategies. Participate in strategic planning meetings. Utilize data driven decision making to enhance program needs and outcome measures. Research and gather information related to best practices and continuous quality improvement as needed.Assist programs and departments with program evaluation.
  5. Oversee Corporate Compliance Program to assist in maintaining compliance with laws, regulations, and policies that govern its conduct. Advise managers on organizational policy matters and regulatory compliance.
  6. Participate in company and/or statewide meetings concerning quality assurance and performance improvement. Collaborate with and maintain professional relationships with external agencies contracting services. Partake and/or complete special projects as requested dependent oncompany and/or contract needs.
  7. Oversight of company risk management including assessment and coordination of all prevention and follow up actions.
  8. Lead and oversight of accreditation survey preparation, training, organization, and communication. Remain knowledgeable and up to date on standards to ensure the continuing conformance for quality programing and business functions.
  9. Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Companys Program Practice Guidelines.
