Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and provide physical security services for the purpose of safeguarding people, the environment, property, and information, consistently within company and government requirements• Responsible for access control, patrolling, emergency communication and response, and traffic and parking enforcement• Assist in the investigations of reported incidents • Respond to alarms and emergencies and directs evacuations as needed• Deescalate/resolve conflicts and document incidents with high level of detail• Issue security citations• Identifies and report potentially hazardous situations• Provide protection for VIPs as needed• Provide support for special events and functions• Ensures compliance with company’s written policies and procedures• Interfaces with government agencies, local and federal law enforcement, and with site Security and Fire management, company management and employees, customers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure understanding of and compliance with company rules and regulations

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in a related field (Law Enforcement, Security, Fire, EMS)• Current EMT certification (State or National) is preferred• An equivalent combination of relevant experience and education may be considered• Must be able and willing to work any shift as well as other irregular hours, weekends, holidays, evenings, etc.
