Position Specific Responsibilities

As the Scholarship and Events Coordinator, you will impact the lives of the students in the College of Health Professions by being involved in coordinating, hosting, and attending college level recruitment and promotional events such as the annualCHPweek, Clash of the Colleges, and high school recruiting events. You will also coordinate scholarship program communications and fund administration as well as oversee participant benefits, and program coordination.

Coordinates scholarship program communications and fund administration. Oversees participant benefits, program coordination, and assists with student recruitment and/or marketing.

Essential Functions

Coordinates with related departments to facilitate recruitment, outreach, and/or marketing of related programs and services. May lead staff in the design and implementation of communications and educational content.\ Monitors compliance with program rules and regulations, provides status updates, and monitors student academic progress as required.\ Oversees communications efforts for projects, campaigns, events, programs and/or services. Collaborates with University staff and students to foster academic success.\ Oversees program eligibility and distributes awarded funds as appropriate. Monitors records and develops reports.
