Compensation: \$20-23 Per Hour

Overview

Completes all aspects of weekly payroll processing for assigned operating companies.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Import hours and special pays into payroll system
  • Evaluate payroll data for reasonableness
  • Review timesheets, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies
  • Update payroll records
  • Communicate with supervisors and managers to resolve payroll questions
  • Reconcile payroll run
  • Prepare pay statements and payroll reports for distribution
  • Investigate and resolve payroll related issues
  • Record adjustments to correct errors
  • Provide information to employees and managers on payroll matters
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Experience

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business preferred but not required
  • 1 years experience in payroll processing
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality is required
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities/projects in a professional manner
  • Results-oriented with the ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and follow-up skills with attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong customer service orientation with a high energy level
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with a wide cross section of individuals
  • Ability to work under pressure of strict deadlines
