Overview

Responsibilities

Major responsibilities include:

Provide business leadership and guidance for an Integrated Product Team(IPT) and associated statement of work as delegated by the Program Manager

Responsible for the technical, cost, schedule, and quality performance of the Integrated Product Team end items and deliverables.

Must have Proven Leadership Experience across multiple functions

  • Organizing and leading the IPT; establishing, executing and maintaining IPT planning (including integration with the overall program execution plan)

  • Planning elements in support of the program-integrated master schedule

  • Conducting IPT-level change control and RIO boards and ensuring integration with the Program Change Control Board to control and update IPT technical and non-technical baselines; supporting the Program Manager in stakeholder needs management activity

  • Coordination on the identification, development and validation of IPT allocated life cycle requirements (e.g. requirements, configuration, data, contract, etc)

  • Defining build-to / buy-to-packages; ensuring affordability to allocated targets

  • Maintaining EVM status and associated budgets and schedules

  • Maintaining requirements compliance and product configuration (including design data delivery); validation, verification, and certification oversight for responsible end items

  • Coordination with SCM on supplier selection, integration, and oversight of SOW

  • Overseeing functional efforts to qualify materials, processes and suppliers (inc. first part qualification)

  • Overall development and delivery of end items/products

  • Integration and utilization of standards and best practices (process and tool) within the IPT and in support of cross-IPT integration.

  • Ability to direct, develop, align, integrate, implement and manage IPT plans and processes.

  • Ensure disciplined change control, including effectively evaluating and managing major and minor product and process changes and customer requests.

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelors degree with 8 years of relevant experience or Masters degree with 4 years of experience. Will consider non degreed applicants with sufficient years of experience.
