Location: The individual in this role will work from our Buhler Office located at: 111 Old Mill Lane Buhler, Kansas.

Opportunity: We are growing! Our team is seeking an Fiber Technician to support business operations in surrounding communities. If you are hard working, have a passion for problem solving and delivering a high level of customer service, this opportunity may be for you!

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

Deliver fiber to the home installations and repairs Ability to troubleshoot customer connection issues

Install and repair VOIP services - Residential and Business Customers Must be able to handle installations and repairs independently

Provide an exceptional in-home/business experience to customers by being friendly, patient, efficient as well as knowledgeable of FTTP service, gateways and WiFi Working knowledge of aerial and underground fiber networks Installing drops from the service terminal to the home or business

Qualifications

Experience/Knowledge Required: High School diploma or equivalent

2+ years of work experience Must possess and maintain a Valid Drivers License

Experience in MS Office, Google Applications or collaborative software Ability to work an on call rotation- including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to work both underground and in aerial environments (i.e. climbing ladders and/or bucket truck)

Ability to work outdoors in various conditions Ability to lift up to 70 lbs

Preferences:
