JOB SUMMARY

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will have the chance to support all aspects of our physical facilities. Our facilities house the company’s most important resource, its people, so we want to make sure they are always well maintained and presentable. This includes general maintenance tasks related to a number of trades, including plumbing, electrical, landscaping, HVAC, construction, sanitation, etc.

This is an on-site role located inWichita, KSand is not open to remote locations.Some degree of after-hours and weekend work may be required.

DURING A TYPICAL DAY

  • Routine equipment maintenance, including preventative tasks

  • Respond to verbal and written requests for service

  • Inspect and maintain alarm systems, including security and fire

  • Patch, repair, and paint drywall holes and abrasions, ceiling tiles, etc.

  • Repair leaking plumbing fixtures

  • Replace failed light bulbs, sockets, etc.

  • Mow and trim grass/lawn areas, perform general cleanup, and maintain equipment

  • Work with outside vendors and contractors

  • Verify proper function of facilities, furniture, and fixtures

  • Coordinate with the Administrative team to ensure facility & furniture is prepared for company events

    QU ALIFICATIONS: WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

  • Skill, experience, and capability to use common tools (power and hand), appliances, and devices

  • Experience with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing equipment

  • Able to lift and carry at least 70 pounds and perform other normal activities such as bending, kneeling, stooping, twisting, pushing/pulling, working overhead, etc.

  • Able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments

  • Always vigilant to maintain high degree of safety in all activities

  • Safely and legally operate a motor vehicle

  • Ability to safely set-up, climb, and work off elevated platforms, including ladders and lifts

  • Ability to effectively manage time and tasks, including prioritization

  • High attention to detail, able to notice and address items without explicit assignment

  • Willingness to ask for help when needed
