We are seeking a proactive, results driven, detail-orientedEstimatorto join ourResidential Flooring Team.The estimator will be responsible for providing the sales and design team with detailed drawings and quotes for various materials and installations including for flooring, showers, countertops, and backsplashes. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, with the ability to adjust to a wide range of client needs.

A Typical Day:

Coordinate and organize schedule for making site visits to new construction and remodel properties.

Field measure jobsites to get accurate dimensions and site info for estimating.

Provide detailed drawings and quotes utilizing CAD based programs, a product/bid system and job tracking app.

Manage changes/additions to materials, bids, and drawings in a timely manner.

Work effectively with customers and internal employees to build good relationships and expectations.

Requirements

Motivation and ability to complete math equations accurately.

Aptitude to read and interpret cabinet layouts, architectural blueprints, and technical specifications.

Capability to manage multiple tasks while meeting quality requirements and deadlines.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Valid drivers license.

Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs.

Preferred Experience

College degree in related construction or design field.

Full understanding of the new home construction and remodeling processes.

Estimating experience with flooring, backsplash, countertops and shower projects.

Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of flooring and countertop software such as Flexijet, Measure and RFMS. :::
