Star Lumber is seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team.
As a Delivery Driver at Star Lumber, you will be responsible for delivering building materials and other products to our customers in a safe and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.
Complete deliveries of building material products in and around the Wichita area.
- Products include lumber, siding, windows, doors, cabinets, decking and more.
Proper loading and unloading of materials at store and customer jobsites.
Accurate logging of delivery stops.
Follow all DOT safety policies and requirements.
Deliver products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
Requirements
::: {bind="html: Job.Requirements"} Requires a valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record.
Must possess the ability to drive interstate.
Must be able to physically load and unload building materials on/off truck.
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions.
Must meet all DOT requirements and possess or be able to obtain a DOT medical card.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and push or pull 100 lbs. frequently.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with building materials.
Knowledge of Wichita metropolitan area.
