Position Summary for the Data Entry/Receptionist:This position is responsible for managing the receptionist desk at the Maple building and for the data entry of expenditures of personal money for persons served, petty cash, gas purchases, and grocery cards. All duties listed below are the essential functions of the position.

General Responsibilities for the Data Entry/Receptionist:

  • Manage the reception desk at the Maple building
  • Answer and direct all calls, voice mail messages, and faxes to the appropriate parties.
  • Greet and assist visitors, staff, and persons served.
  • Respond to and assist bus drivers on the two-way radio.
  • Assist with processing job applications for employment as needed.
  • Post, sort and distribute mail deliveries from post office daily.
  • Date stamp, copy, code, sort and distribute all checks and cash received as needed.
  • Organize checks and cash for the finance department as needed.
  • Complete copying and laminating as requested by staff.
  • Create spreadsheets and forms, as requested and/or needed.
  • Monitor and replenish copies of documents and forms as requested.
  • Assist with the data entry of Equal Employment Opportunity information

Requirements for the Data Entry/Receptionist Role:

  • Must Have a HS Diploma, GED, or Bronze Level Work Keys Certificate.
  • Driver\'s License for a minimum of two years with a good driving record.
  • Availability for 2-4 weeks of paid training, M-F 8:30am-5:00pm.
  • ASL experience (American Sign Language), preferred.
  • Able to pass backgrounds checks and drug screen.
